Three immersive days organized by Fondazione Golinelli, G-LAB, and Golinelli Live, at the heart of advanced imaging, combining theory and practice to explore the most innovative microscopy technologies applied to 3D models.
From super-resolution to light sheet microscopy, from FLIM to digital holotomography, the sixth edition of the Microscopy School – Precision Microscopy will guide you through the most cutting-edge techniques, with hands-on sessions on state-of-the-art instruments and direct exchanges with field experts. The venue is the Opificio Golinelli in Bologna, a place where science, technology, and education meet and cross-pollinate.
Take part in six demo sessions held in five thematic rooms dedicated to the great pioneers of microscopy, each equipped with next-generation instruments and led by highly qualified tutors and researchers. A unique opportunity to experience firsthand – and through a virtual reality headset – the future of scientific imaging.
Participation in the opening plenary session on the first day is free of charge, with mandatory reservation. Registered participants of the School will also receive free access to the online microscopy course “Focus on the Invisible” (40 hours), a project by Fondazione Golinelli and G-LAB.
Who it’s for
The School of Microscopy – 6th Edition is aimed at researchers, PhD students, students, and technicians interested in deepening their theoretical and practical knowledge of advanced imaging applied to 3D models. The course is designed for those who wish to gain expertise in the use of cutting-edge microscopy technologies to obtain high-quality, information-rich images in the context of biomedical research.
